I earned my master’s degree in Forensic and Counseling Psychology from William James College in 2010. As a military spouse from 2010 to 2021, I maintained licensure in four states and gained a broad range of clinical experience across diverse settings. I began my career in Massachusetts, providing counseling services in community-based mental health programs before relocating to North Carolina in 2015.
In North Carolina, I joined Pinehurst Neuropsychology, where I provided individual therapy to adults experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma, and stressors related to military life, including deployment and supporting a partner with PTSD. My work also included caregiver support and helping individuals navigate brain change and neurological challenges.
I established my private practice in 2019. My areas of specialization include anxiety and depression, personal growth and self-esteem, relationship concerns, adjustment to medical conditions, functional neurological disorders, care partner support, support for healthcare workers, and stressors related to military life. I have experience supporting individuals and families affected by brain change, including dementia, and I work closely with care partners navigating grief, role changes, and the emotional challenges of caregiving.
I am dedicated to creating a comfortable, collaborative, and trusting therapeutic environment. I work to reduce the stigma and barriers often associated with seeking mental health care while providing clients with practical tools to better understand their experiences and move toward meaningful change. My goal is to help individuals clarify personal goals, build emotional wellness, and enhance their overall quality of life.
